DAY-25, HASSI MESSAOUD, ALGERIA, 23RD JUNE'09, 21.16 HRS

DETERMINATION

We know the world is full of suffering, it is also full of overcoming of it.
If anyone determine with full dedication it is very much possible to achieve the goal.

Three key attributes to accomplishing personal goals; desire, dedication and determination or simply the three D's.

The three D's are at the forefront of any one's success; whether in a person's personal or professional life. Now if these people: the amputee, the overweight lady, the blind man, and the older man, were told that they had to be able to maintain an average waistline, run 1.5 miles, do some push-ups and sit-ups and had three years to train for it, do you think they'd be able to accomplish the challenge? Seems like a silly question doesn't it?

Just as many of us have the desire, dedication and determination to succeed in the personal, professional, spiritual and emotional facets of our lives; we must also use the three D's to succeed in the physical fitness facet of our lives. When physical fitness is made a priority in people's lives people can make good progress towards success.

You gotta do it. This is the whole concept behind Nike's ad, "Just Do It." Dedication is what separates the common from the champion.

"The will to win is the most over-estimated phenomenon in sport. It's not the will to win – everyone wants to win. It's the will to prepare to win that makes winners."

What about you? Are you willing to work hard to win? If your Coach were to ask you to do some extra drills after practice, what would your attitude be?

Someone put it this way: Success is 90 percent perspiration and 10 percent inspiration.

To be a champion in life requires developing a balance in every area of your life – the physical, the mental, and the spiritual.

Feeling very sleepy....have a very good night...

With lots of love,
